Join Us in Supporting UNICO’s 2021 Coat Drive

Last weekend, the Louis DeMondo Civic Association was proud to support the UNICO Chapter of Kenilworth’s 2021 Coat Drive to collect coats, hats, scarves, and gloves for people in need this winter season.

And this Saturday, Feb. 6, we’ll collect donations again at the Municipal Building parking lot from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. So we hope you will join us in helping others by donating new or gently used winter clothing for those in need.

Laura Morana, the UNICO Chapter President, has partnered with an organization in Newark that expressed a need for these items to help those less fortunate. Members of the UNICO Chapter will drop off all clothing donated on Saturday in Newark for distribution.

During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, organizations have seen a decline in the number of coat drives held by businesses and individuals across the country. So it’s important now more than ever to support our most vulnerable neighbors by hosting coat drives that are working to provide warmth this winter.

We hope you will join us in donating new or gently used winter clothing to this worthy cause.
